Conference Speaker: The Annual Institute on Health, Safety, Security and Risk Management

If you are attending this year’s Forum’s Health & Safety Institute in Denver, CO, our Director of Higher Education & Assistance, Kelly Trail, will be there presenting on the topic of insurance and education abroad.

Session title: Insurance in Education Abroad: What is it and How Does it Work for You?

About this session:

An insurance exec, a broker, and two university staff walk into a conference . . . ready to share the ins and outs of travel insurance, including what it is and is not, how it is regulated, the meaning of key terms, and what it means to be ethical. Then, we will delve into the ways your broker can help you make sense of your policy and make it work for you, including understanding of claims data and costs. Finally, you’ll hear from two universities on scenarios they’ve experienced, which will help illuminate how different coverage can work for you!
