Local National Webinar: "Parity in International Benefits in 2023"
For many years, access to insurance for global, comprehensive medical benefits has been limited to specific populations of employees. Staff who live and work in their home countries (Local Nationals) have made do with local plans that commonly restrict geographic areas of care, exclude key medical treatments for chronic illnesses like HIV and cancer, and use waiting periods, administrative burdens, and caps on dependents to further limit the scope of access.
Based on demand, global carriers have now begun rolling out insurance products that provide rich benefits to global workforces without geographic limitations. This webinar will provide you with insight based on Allegiant Global Partners’ experience in shaping, purchasing, and implementing these products with INGO clients over the past year.
Learning Objectives:
Be able to assess whether a global policy may be a good fit your employee population
Have heard about the key challenges that Allegiant has seen (and heard from employees themselves) in this area of work until now
Have an understanding of Allegiant’s operational best practices for implementation of a global policy
Allegiant Global Partners believes that healthcare is a human right and sees huge, untapped potential for working toward that goal via global medical benefits. Join us on this collaborative journey to operationalize equity and drive change in this sector!
This webinar is approved for 1.5 PDC SHRM and HRCI course credits. HR Certification Institute’s® (www.HRCI.org) official seal confirms that Allegiant Global Partners meets the criteria for pre-approved recertification credit(s) for any of HRCI’s eight credentials, including SPHR® and PHR®.
